Misunderstanding: "Avocados are very high in fat"
Avocados are rich in mono-unsaturated fats, so they are excellent for your heart. Avocados have many components that protect you against viruses like anti-oxidants, lutein, ?-carotene and vitamin E. Moreover avocados help you with the absorption of other nutrients. Misunderstanding: "Coffee only keeps you awake"
And this is what's right: American scientists discovered that the caffeine in coffee helps to improve your mind. Moreover, drinking caffeine regularly helps to reduce the risk of getting diabetes type 2. People who drink four to six cups of coffee per day, have a 28% less risk to get this disease than people who drink only two cups per day.
Misunderstanding: low-calorie food that doesn't provide you any essential nutrients.

Certain ingredients of mushrooms have many positive effects on our health, such as improvement of the immune system and preventing certain types of cancer. Furthermore, champignons contain more potassium than oranges, which lowers your blood pressure.
Misunderstanding: "High in fat and calories"
Facts: Five different investigations confirmed that eating peanuts (and thus peanutbutter) reduce the risk of getting heart diseases... without increasing your weight! One to two teaspoons of peanutbutter was enough to satisfy the craving for food by participants to these researches.
Misunderstanding: "Eggs are high in cholesterol"
Facts: Eggs are cheap sources of high rated proteins and contain many different minerals and essential nutrients. For example, eggs contain: folic acid, vitamin B2, selenium and choline.
Containing only 75 kcal each, eggs provide you with many essential nutrients and fit perfectly in a low-calorie diet.
